Pakistan's first locally made electric motorcycle
Jolta Electric builds the first locally manufactured electric motorcycle in Pakistan.

2019
Pakistan approves its first EV policy
On 5 November 2019 the federal cabinet approves Pakistan's first national Electric Vehicles Policy (2020 to 2025), opening the way for local electric motorcycle manufacturing.

Launched by Prime Minister Imran Khan
On 8 July 2021 Prime Minister Imran Khan launches Pakistan's first-ever locally produced electric motorbike, made by Jolta Electric, at a ceremony in Islamabad, calling it a futuristic step.

PAVE Scheme supplier
